libgeometric-shapes1d software package provides Robot OS geometric_shapes package, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgeometric-shapes1d
libgeometric-shapes1d is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgeometric-shapes1d package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgeometric-shapes1d *
